TRANSPLANT STATUS updated on 01/24/13

Hey everyone! =) So i just found out yesterday I have been accepted to Dukes Transplant Team and have the go-ahead to move forward! We did two days of simple testing and met the entire team. They had a meeting Tuesday the 22nd and made their decision to let me continue on with them. I am very excited, they are a great team of people and #1 in the country for double lung transplantation's. Monday i will begin pulmonary rehab (23 sessions must be completed) lots of appointments, more and more testing and so on, so right when i complete everything they require then i get listed and wait approximatly 12 days for my new lungs =) Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts an prayers, it sure did pay off !! Pretty good day(: finally!

Hey Everyone!! Today was pretty good day! My love Christopher and I slept until around 2 pm haha i woke up to my sister Jessica calling me because my lovely mumma of  course thought that i had died because i didnt answer my phone Lmao.. was just sleepin in mum! Woke up did my stupid treatments, inhalers, nebulizers, and theraputic vest. & then had some fried scallops and french fries for lunch MMMM! then relaxed finished my blog page. Hoping to meet new people and start talking to other people for support soon! I hope ya'll enjoy my page i know theres alot goin on with it ! Anyhow i had a few bad cough fits today.. more meds more bullshit.. christopher made a wonderful dinner, babyback ribs on the grill, espargus, and cheddar broccoli rice!! HELL YEA! he is so good to me, thank god because i cant do much on my own anymore. Now its movie time, repeat the set of treatments, and finish picking out the place we will be vacationing next week! my gram decided to send us wherever we would like so i could enjoy some warm air, sunshine and my favorite place, the beach! so far its lookin like miami.. any other suggestions anyone??? and  need to get some sleep gotta get up early have errands to run and a docor apt at pain clinic.. that'll wear me out real quick..alright well i am gonna go because i am getting jealous my pups are all cuddled up with my man.. i am so thankful for him because the animal hair makes me cough lot now so someone has to cuddle with them! Time for bipap machine and oxygen and into our king size bed thats sooo comfortable. now i am bragging haha but it does make it hard to get out of in the AM! Anyhow... I hope ya'll have a great night never forget to pray for a cure an support organ donation, thats what may save my life, i want to take a real breathe!
